Rep. Niemerg Promotes IDNR Grants for Local Government Agencies: Deadline Sept. 1

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) is now accepting applications for the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant program.

The OSLAD program provides funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public outdoor recreation areas. OSLAD is a matching program that provides an advance payment (for development projects only) that is 50 percent of the grant award amount shortly after the grant agreement is executed.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Sept. 1, 2021. Potential applicants can discuss their projects with IDNR grant administrators by making an appointment at the following link: Schedule for OSLAD & LWCF GRANT INQUIRY (supersaas.com).
