State Rep. Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) spoke to the Wayne County Retired Teachers Association today, which is “World Teachers’ Day.” October 5th is the date set aside annually to celebrate all teachers around the world since 1994.
“Not just today, but every day we need to be thankful for all of the great teachers who dedicate their lives to the education of our children,” commented Rep. Adam Niemerg, the father of two. “Many of our retired teachers actually use their experience to serve as some of our best substitute teachers when our schools need them. I say thank you to all of our teachers in Wayne County and around the state.”
