State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) has announced that he will be suspending his Satellite Office Hours program during the summer months of June, July and August again this year. In addition to informational materials like helpful numbers, constituents may sign up for legislative updates and learn about state programs such as the Cash Dash program to connect people with their property that the State of Illinois has in its possession.
“We experimented with this program last year and found it very successful to be available to constituents at events they are already attending like our county fairs,” said Rep. Adam Niemerg. “My staff and I will be setting up informational tables at fairs and festivals around the district to make it easier for people to stop by and ask questions about state programs, suggest legislation, or get help on issues like FOID/CCL cards.”
The first event will be the Wabash County “Chamber Picnic in the Park” in Mt. Carmel. This event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:30pm. It is for the 2021 High School Scholarship winners and Chamber members. At all of these events, look for the red table covering with the official state seal.
