Rep. Niemerg Announces Key Committee Assignments

DIETERICH – 102nd District State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) has been appointed to serve on several key Illinois House Committees. Niemerg is serving in his second term as State Representative, with new legislative district boundaries that took effect on January 11, 2023.

“I am pleased to announce my appointment to several important House Committees where I will serve the citizens of the 102nd district and the people of Illinois,” Niemerg said. “My commitment to limited government, lower taxes, less spending, and greater transparency remains as strong as ever. I am also dedicated to protecting the sanctity of human life, opposing unconstitutional gun control legislation, and ending Governor Pritzker’s executive order stranglehold on Illinois government in this new Session.”

Niemerg will serve as a permanent member of the Illinois House Appropriations General Services, Consumer Protection, Elementary and Secondary Education School Curriculum and Policy, Insurance, Restorative Justice, and Labor & Commerce Committees.

“I look forward to standing up for the freedoms of Illinoisans, to restoring local control in education policy, and protecting consumers and laborers from onerous regulations that cost everyone more money and cause the loss of jobs and the outmigration of our citizens through my work on these critical House Committees.”
