Rep. Niemerg to Hold Town Hall Meeting November 16 at Paris City Hall

State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) announced his next town hall meeting for constituents will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Paris City Hall in Edgar County. The meeting will center around the recent Veto Session of the Illinois General Assembly and focus on the issues and concerns of families and businesses in the 102nd District.

“We have many pressing issues such as the job climate and all of the taxes and spending by the current Governor, the impact of undocumented immigrants receiving free healthcare under the ‘sanctuary state’ status of Illinois, encouraging the expansion of abortion in our state, and defending our Second Amendment rights from another gun grab proposal,” commented Rep. Niemerg. “My town hall meetings with constituents are an opportunity to look them in the eye and reaffirm my commitment to continue to fight for their values and priorities in the Illinois House of Representatives.”

The town hall meeting will take place at the following:

Paris City Hall

206 S. Central Avenue

Paris

6:30 to 7:30 PM

“Residents can meet with me and my legislative staff and are encouraged to share their ideas, voice their concerns, and receive assistance with state government programs,” added Niemerg.
