Congratulations to Derik for catching the biggest fish this year: a 17-inch Channel Catfish. His only catch of the morning, but it was the biggest! And congratulations to Connor for catching the most fish this morning at 13!
Thank you to the team members from the Eagle Anglers Bass Team from the Newton Community High School who came out again this year to help teach the kids about baiting a hook, casting, and reeling in a fish! And thank you to the Sam Parr on-site staff Tim and Jordan and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources team for the information, materials and the cool rulers to help measure out the biggest fish!
