“Every year we provide our members with the scorecard results so they can know how their local representative votes on key issues that impact their bottom line,” said TMA Executive Vice President Dennis LaComb. “It’s important to know which legislators are standing up for the often overlooked small and midsize manufacturers and it’s encouraging to see more legislators receive 100% voting records than the year before.”
In their newly released 2023 Legislative Scorecard, the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) reports 32 lawmakers in the Illinois House and Senate voted 100% in line with small and midsize manufacturers on 7 key pieces of legislation that impacts manufacturing.
In order to score perfectly, the lawmakers’ voting records showed they agreed with TMA’s positions on behalf of small and midsize manufacturers on key legislation 100% of the time during the 2023 Illinois legislative session.
