State Representatives Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) announced the selection of Hyleri (pronounced Hillary) Bowlin of Effingham as his new Legislative Director and office manager for the Teutopolis state office to serve the constituents of the 102nd District. Ms. Bowlin comes from an office manager position at a local medical practice with extensive work with patients and the community.
“I am pleased to welcome Hyleri to my team to work with constituents dealing with state programs and concerns,” said Rep. Niemerg. “She brings a fresh perspective to the office and as a mother she understands my priority to fight for children and families, for good schools that respect parental rights, and my work to defend the sanctity of Life.” Niemerg added.
Niemerg points out that in addition to working on constituent cases and organizing his Satellite Office Hours program, Hyleri will serve as his surrogate representative with civic and community groups when he is unavailable and working in Springfield during session days.
A graduate of Effingham High School where she was active in 4-H for nine years, Hyleri played the piano, the French Horn in the concert band, and Mellophone in the marching band. Hyleri attended Lake Land Community College and volunteers with the local 4-H organization with a primary focus on the Effingham County 4-H Llama Leaders.
