Rep. Niemerg Welcomes Three Pages-for-the-Day at Capitol

Rep. Adam Niemerg hosted Lawrenceville students Rhett, Emma, and Zoey Clodfelter as Pages-for-the-Day at the State Capitol.

Lawrenceville Homeschool Students Learn About General Assembly

SPRINGFIELD, IL… State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) welcomed three students today to serve as Page-for-the-Day to learn more about the Illinois House and the legislative process. Rhett, Zoey, and Emma Clodfelter are homeschoolers from Lawrenceville whose school is called Fletcher Academy.

Rhett Clodfelter is a senior this year planning to enlist in the U.S. Air Force after his graduation. Rhett has earned dual college credit through Wabash Community College. He is involved in the local homeschool FFA, the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, and volunteers at the local food pantry.

Zoey Clodfelter is finishing up her freshman year of high school. Zoey is a member of the local homeschool FFA chapter, the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, and is a volunteer at the local animal shelter. Zoey looks forward to continuing with her violin ensemble, and focusing her studies in the medical field.

Emma Clodfelter is finishing up her freshman year of high school and is a member of the local homeschool FFA chapter, the Faithful Friends 4-H Club, and volunteers at the local animal shelter. Emma plans to continue to develop her design and entrepreneurial skills in her jewelry business and eventually pursue a degree in graphic design.

The students were joined in Springfield by their mom and their grandfather.
