Dieterich, IL… State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) made the following statement upon the Governor’s signing of the Fiscal Year 2027 record-breaking budget on June 16:
“We have a 56-billion-dollar budget with nearly a billion dollars in tax increases and $400 million for illegal immigration. The Governor and Democrats care more about raising taxes and illegal immigrants than they care about helping the citizens of Illinois. Democrats promised affordability but delivered the largest budget in State history.”
