Mr. Eric Tarter's 8th Grade History students from St. Michael the Archangel School in Sigel, IL.

102nd District State Representative Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) welcomed Mr. Eric Tarter’s 8th Grade History students from St. Michael the Archangel School in Sigel to the State Capitol in Springfield on Tuesday during session in the Illinois House of Representatives.

“Thank you to Mr. Tarter for bringing his history students to the Capitol to help compliment their learning in the classroom with an opportunity to see their legislative branch at work,” said Rep. Niemerg, a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a history degree. “From this visit, I imagine several students may be interested in coming back to serve as a Page-for-the-Day and learn even more about the legislature.”
